Portadown Care and treatment Centre Commission PixelSphere

An NHS commission to develop, manufacture and install a large 1000 sphere digiatally controlled installation.
PixelSphere consists of a 1000 suspended spheres each containing an independently controlled LCD screen. The LCD screens individually act as a 'pixel', the curved suspended form of the array of spheres under the digital control show digital images of surface water movement.
The installation is intended to be both relaxing and stimulating, bringing a sense of calm to the beautiful new atrium and building.
